This term we are learning about ‘Our Community and People who help us.’ We will be learning about fire fighters, police officers and doctors and nurses. We will also be learning about shop keepers, carers and other professions. We will be going on lots of visits to the shop (to buy ingredients to make our own pancakes), to the local woods, to John Kay court and hopefully lots more outings. We will be inviting lots of visitors into nursery to tell us about their roles in our local area, e.g. Marion the lollipop lady and going to the school kitchen to meet our school cook.
