Subitising
June 17, 2025This week we have been learning about subitising in maths- this is recognising how many spots are in the pattern, without counting them. At carpet time today the children got into pairs and rolled a dice between them and had to say how many spots they could see without counting them. We learnt the patterns on the dice and what numbers they each represented. Do you have a dice at home that your child could show you their new amazing skill on?
