Nursery outdoor area- summer term ready
April 7, 2026The nursery staff have been busy in the Easter holidays making the outdoor area a lovely place to learn in the summer term. Staff have swept, cleaned and tidied all the outdoor areas and set up a new mud kitchen area to role play making mud pies, a digging area to practise gross motor skills, a small world area in the hidden garden, a nature/ mini beasts area to look learn from and in nature, a small world area with cars, garages, ramps and a water area to explore scientific skills of pouring, floating and sinking. We have also set up a large construction area for children to role play being builders and build on a large scale. There are also mark making areas with chalks, paint brushes and rollers and buckets of water, construction areas, book areas as well as large physical development areas to climb, balance, roll, slide, throw, catch and run in. We are very excited for children to learn in our indoor and outdoor area this summer term. Here are a few preview photos so you can see what we have set up.
