Brockholes Nature Park

Year 2 had a fantastic time on our trip to Brockholes this week. We explored the deep, dark woods, looked for minibeasts in microhabitats and looked for living things to consolidate our science learning. We were really resilient with building dens in the woods and it was a lovely surprise to bump into the Gruffalo!

We also found some strange animal footprints in the ground and enjoyed trying to work out what kind of animal had made the tracks!
