Year Three Iron Age Day

To end our topic on From Stone Age to Iron Age, we celebrated with an Iron Age Day. We began by making coil pots and learning how to weave our naturally dyed wool. In the afternoon, we made a delicious traditional fish and leek stew, cooked  on an open fire followed by wheat cakes sweetened with honey.
