Year 5 – Step Inside Your Fantasy Adventure

On Friday, we joined Katie and Kevin Tsang (authors of the Dragon Legend series), Viviane Schwarz and Ben Shires to embark on a fantasy adventure. We took part in an livestreamed event which inspired the children to create their own fantasy books in which they are the heroes. Along the way, they encountered portals to strange worlds, magical creatures, potions and great adventures. The children developed an understanding of key motifs in fantasy fiction, they were engaged in drawing along with Viviane, and viewed magical treasures from the British Library‘s collection.
