Winter Walk

We got wrapped up and had a magical Winter walk. We found lots of bare branches, berries and an evergreen pine tree. We noticed that the pine tree had needles and not leaves. We spoke about the berries being for the animals and birds, and not for the children. We discovered the Ryelands Bug Hotel and discussed what creatures may be living there. We also noticed a holly bush and looked at the spikey leaves. There was no ice today but the children have experienced plenty the previous week.
