Times Tables Investigations

Year 4 have been learning different theories about the times tables and testing them. They have been investigating theories about the 3s, 6s and 9s. We learnt that the digits of the multiples of 3, when added together make another multiple of 3. We have learnt that if a number is in the 6x table, it has to also be in the 2s and 3s and that most numbers in the 9 times table, when the digits are added together, make 9! They have been excellent mathematicians!
