Sycamore Heysham Power Station

On Monday 27th January, Sycamore visited Heysham Power Station. In the morning they learnt all about electricity and how the Power Station provides electricity to millions of homes. In the afternoon they were lucky enough to go for a tour around Heysham 2 where they saw the reactors, turbines and the control room. Their behaviour was impeccable and they were praised very highly by the staff at the Power Station. Well done Sycamore!
