Nursery phonics learning

The children in nursery have been working so hard on their phonics skills. We have been following Red Rose Letters and Sounds phonics programme. We have been learning each phoneme and singing the jolly phonics songs to learn the sounds. The children have been working hard on orally blending and segmenting the sounds in CVC words. Some of the children have started reading and writing words with the phonemes that we have been learning in phonics. Take a look at how amazing the nursery children are at writing these words.
