Hazel Class at the Farm

As part of our learning about healthy eating, the children in Year Three visited the Farm Education Centre to find out about dairy farming.

They had a fascinating tour of the farm and watched the cows being milked by robots! We even said hello to Holly and Hazel, the calves that were born after our visit last year and named after the two Year 3 classes.

In the afternoon we had a butter making competition and a walk through the woodland and fields to learn about how important the seasons are on the farm.
