Hazel Class at the Farm

Hazel Class had a very busy day at the Lancashire Farm Education Centre, learning how a dairy farm works.

They met the gentle cows, saw them being milked by the robot and prepared their finely balanced food. They even had a go at hand milking with a simulated cow’s udder!

They learnt how important it is for the farmers to take care of the environment around the farm. We ended with a traditional wellie wangling competition!
