Autumn in nursery

A few children have started bringing conkers and autumn leaves into nursery, so we have been learning about the season of Autumn. Next week we will be going on autumn walks around the school grounds looking for signs of the weather and season changing.
We have been using many of our creative skills to create an Autumn display in nursery. The children have enjoyed learning to finger paint, hand print, paint and collage to create leaves, conkers and animals we see in Autumn time. We have been learning about the colours we see in Autumn and learning the colour names.
