Autumn walk

This morning we made the most of the sunshine and went for a short walk to look for signs of Autumn. The children found lots of leaves on the ground and yellow, brown and orange leaves left on some trees. We took some time to look at the Queen’s platinum jubilee tree and discussed why it was special. This week we have been reading the Little Acorn story which helps the children to understand the life cycle of an Oak tree, from acorn, roots, shoots, sapling, to adult tree. we hope you enjoy sharing these photographs at home. 🌱🍁🍂
