Kandinsky

The children have been learning about the artist Wassily Kandinsky and exploring his use of colour, shape and line. They showed curiosity and engagement as they discussed his artwork, identifying different shapes and colours and sharing their own ideas. The children then went on to create their own Kandinsky-inspired masterpieces, confidently choosing colours and experimenting with shapes and lines to represent their own interpretations. They demonstrated creativity and imagination, sustained focus, and pride in their finished work, talking about what they had created and why they made certain choices.
