On Tuesday 10th February, 7 year 4 pupils represented Ryelands Primary School in their first ever football tournament. To say we are proud of these pupils is an understatement. To reach a final in their first tournament was such an achievement. We came up against a strong Bowerham side in the final which we unfortunately lost 1-0. This meant that we then had to jump straight into a playoff game to see which school would secure 2nd place. The boys showed excellent determination and resilience after the disappointment of losing the final. We dug deep and ended up winning the playoff game 1-0 and came 2nd overall.
You did Ryelands proud. Well done.
