Hazel Class at the Caves

Hazel Class had a fabulous day out at Ingleborough Caves as part of their learning about rock formation.

We walked through the woods, where the trees were turning into autumnal colours and then sat outside to eat our lunch. We explored the caves and discovered that they were formed from the limestone rock that had once been under the sea. We saw stalactites, stalagmites and fossils.
