Last half term our topic was the Stone Age and our question was ‘How did Hunter Gatherers Live?’
The children had an amazing time! We learnt through Art: making our own Salt Dough Jewellery and creating our own cave paintings, as well as History: researching how the way Hunter Gatherers lived changed through the differing time periods of the Stone Age. The children got hands on with Science experiments, testing the permeability and durability of rocks, to find out which one would be the best to build a cave! Spoiler alert, it was limestone!
