Our new topic for this half term is all about states of matter and the water cycle. We will be learning about solids, liquids and gases and how states of matter can change. We will then be using this learning for the water cycle later on! Trips planned for this half term are South Lakeland Zoo to see our information leaflets display and to feed some giraffes and also a trip to the Aquaduct as part of our Water Cycle topic.
Children will also be swimming this half term. Please remember your child must bring; a swimming hat for long hair, a swimming costume or trunks, a towel and spare underwear on a Thursday. If your child requires goggles, please get a letter from the office.
Children will be receiving weekly homework consisting of spelling practice and times tables alongside their reading.
