Phonics in nursery

The children are doing so well with phase 1 phonics, that we are going to start phase 2 phonics next week.
We will start by learning the phonemes s a t.

We will be practising hearing and saying, seeing and saying, saying and writing the graphemes ( letters) to go with each phoneme ( sound). We will play lots of games with these letters e.g. making silly soup with all things beginning with s, playing I spy looking for objects beginning with t, drawing s a t outside with chalks, hunting for the letters in hide and seek and saying the sounds the letters make.
